On the directions of the Director General, Rawalpindi Development Authority, Muhammad Saif Anwar Jappa, the Enforcement Squad RDA has carried out an operation and sealed site office of illegal housing scheme namely Eastridge at MouzaKothaKalan,Rawalpindi, RDA spokesman said.
He said RDA has also lodged First Information Reports (FIRs) against the owners of nine illegal housing schemes namely Eman Garden, Land Sub-Division / Chanar Enclave in mouzakhasalakalan on Adyala road to Chakri road, Land Sub-Division / Bahram Villas in mouzakatarian near new Islamabad International Airport, HaiderResidencia in mouzakohala on Chakri road, Khalid Colony phase-IV, Kahmir Homes / Imam Hasan Town, ZamZam Villas in mouzamisriot, Usmania Forts in mouzathalian near Thalian Interchange and Al-Barka Garden in mouzachowker, Taxila Rawalpindi.
He said taking legal action previously notices were issued to the owners of these illegal housing schemes namely Mr. Saleem, Mr. SaqibMahmood Bhatti, Mr. WaseemMazhar, Mr. Muhammad Ayyub, Mr. Osama Abbasi, Raja ShoaibTanveer, Mr. RizwanCharagh, Mr. Waqas Khalid, Mr. Muhammad Naveed, Mr. Shahzad Musharraf Afridi, Malik Shafqat and Mr. Saifullah.
He said that the owners of the above-mentioned properties have violated the Punjab Development of Cities Act 1976 and under section 38 of Punjab Development Authorities Private Housing Schemes Rules 2021.
The Enforcement Squad RDA including Incharge / Assistant Director Building Control, Building Inspectors and others with the assistance of the Police from the concerned Airport Police Station carried out the operation against above mentioned illegal housing scheme. The owner of this property was running illegal housing schemes’ site office in violation of rules. He said notices were issued to the owners of above mentioned illegal housing schemes. RDA spokesman said the DG RDA advises the general public that in their own interest they should not make any investment in any illegal / unauthorized Housing Scheme whose’s status was declared illegal by RDA.
