A security guard of a private security firm is sentenced to life-imprisonment for raping a foreign national working with an International organization.
According to the First Information Report (FIR) lodged last year in June with the Aabpara police station, the rape incident occurred on the night of June 6, 2022.
The police received an application from a foreign national that the security guard of her house had raped her.
Upon receiving the complaint, police registered Fir no 511/22 under sections 376 and 377 PPC.
According to the Islamabad police spokesperson, the investigation team used all the technical and human resources and succeeded in apprehending the accused who were identified as Muhammad Safeer.
The police gathered solid evidence and submitted a challan to the relevant court, where the full trial of the case was held and the court convicted the accused and sentenced him to life imprisonment.
According to details, the foreign official had joined the international organization in January 2022 six months before the incident and the man who allegedly raped her was the guard of a private security firm Harris Enterprises.
He was deployed at her house located in G-6/4 in March of the same year.
According to the FIR, the foreign organization official alleged the security guard entered her bedroom at night while she was trying to sleep and pinning her on the bed sexually assaulted her. At first, she could not recognize her tormentor due to the darkness in the room.
Then she pleaded with him to let her switch on the bedroom light and go to the bathroom to wash the blood from her mouth. Upon switching on the light she recognized it was her security guard Muhammad Safeer. She ordered him to leave immediately but he was stronger than her and forced her to do what he wanted. At one moment, she feared he would kill her. However, after repeated requests, he relented and allowed her to go to the bathroom but he followed her. There inside the bathroom when she was washing blood from her mouth and lips, he asked her not to tell anyone about the incident or he would lose his job. He also ‘promised’ to marry her.
