Rana Sana urges opp to stand up against govt

Senior leader of Pakistan Muslim League (Nawaz) Rana Sanaullah has urged all opposition parties and people to launch a struggle against the corrupt and incompetent government.

Talking to media persons on Monday in Lahore, the PML-N leader said it was the duty of all opposition parties and people to put up an effort for the removal of the incompetent and corrupt government.

He vowed to launch a full-fledged movement against the government after the Eid holidays (which have come to an end today).

Rana said that the opposition had run a successful movement against the government earlier but there was some disagreement on resignations. On Palestine, he said Israel was committing extreme kind of atrocities on Palestinians.

He said the Zionist regime was spilling the blood of innocent Muslim women and children. But oblivious to the grim situation in Palestine, the government is obsessed with revenge, Sana deplored.

He said the cabinet held a special session to discuss the modus operandi to put Shehbaz Sharif’s name on Exit Control List. He said during Eid holidays Shehbaz’s name was placed on ECL. He denied any contact by estranged PTI leader Jehangir Tareen Khan with his party.

However, he condemned the way Jehangir was being treated by the government. He drew a parallel between the treatment meted out to the JTK and the Sharif family on their business dealings.

Meanwhile, a man, identified as Abdul Hassan, fled from the Lahore High Court Monday afternoon after his bail plea was rejected.

Hassan hailed from Gujranwala. His wife’s family had registered a case against him for defrauding them and stealing their car. His bail appeal was rejected by Justice Sardar Ahmed Naeem.

During the hearing, a fight broke out between both parties. In the middle of the commotion, Hassan managed to escape.
