In the holy month of Ramzan, the joy of the youth was doubled with the night sports tournaments held in the corners of South Waziristan Lower and Upper Two Districts. While this type of tournaments which has restored health activities for the youth of Waziristan.
In this blessed month of Ramzan, night football and night volleyball tournaments have been started in different areas of Waziristan in Tanai, Spin, Chaghmalai and other areas with the support of the Sports Department.
The players said that apart from different regions of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, players from Balochistan are also participating in these tournaments. From which it can be inferred that the youth of Waziristan are very peaceful and are contributing fully to the formation of a healthy society.
Local citizens said that the last twenty years of Waziristan have passed, in which people used to go to their homes as soon as the sun went down and because of the unrest, it was known that a person who left home in the morning was considered a spoil to return home safely in the evening.
But with the changing of the situation, there is a message of peace for the people of Waziristan now that the sports fields are settled.
The players said that the youth here are giving this message to the world by settling the sports fields, that the youth of Waziristan are not only peace-loving, but pioneers in healthy activities.
On the other hand, South Waziristan District Sports Officer Noor Ullah says that the Department of Sports Directorate of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa is a strong effort that the sportsmen of Waziristan should be provided with the facilities that are available to the sportsmen in other cities of the country.
