Ramzan Kitchen provides food to over 250 poor families

The Ramazan Open Kitchen organized by the Muslim Hands Pakistan is providing cooked food to over 250 poor and deserving families daily in the surrounding of the federal capital Islamabad.

Muslim Hands, a charity and welfare organization engaged in helping less-privileged people will continue to provide nutritional cooked meals to the needy communities throughout the holy month thus playing its part in fighting hunger and enhancing food security among communities.

We have been engaged in supporting the poor and the needy people through such activities, said the Muslim Hands Country Director Syed Ziaul Noor, adding the cooked meals were provided on a daily basis at the door steps of over 250 poor and needy families through Muslim Hand Ramazan Open Kitchen.

Donors from the United States, Canada, Australia, United Kingdom, Europe and other countries are fully cooperating extending generous aid to help the poor and the deserving families for the Ramazan open kitchens and ration packages.

Ziaul Noor said that the Muslim Hands also started Ramazan Open Kitchen in other cities of the country during Ramazan to support the needy persons for the good cause.

This Ramazan, Muslim Hands is set to distribute 10,000 cooked meals to the most vulnerable communities in Islamabad, Lahore and Karachi, he further said.

This initiative underscores our steadfast commitment to achieving Zero Hunger and promoting Better Nutrition and Health for all.

He said that several other welfare organizations, individuals and businessmen were pitching in to help the citizens and the government through various initiatives with the hope that humanity would survive these dreadful times.

Muslim Hands will continue to provide food support to such families and to help them have a reliable supply of meals in the absence of employment opportunities”, Ziaul Noor said, adding the needy families were facing difficulties in having daily meals.

They are worried about their own sustenance for the next 20 days or so during the holy month of Ramazan and it is our collective duty to support them.
