Ramazan fair price shops established in Hafizabad

Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Sundas Irshad and District Police Officer Faisal Gulzar visited Ramazan Bazar, Fair Price Sops established at Model Bazar to provide essential commodities to people on cheaper prices than open market during holy Month of Ramazan and reviewed security and other arrangements for giving different basic facilities to consumers in model bazar.

On this occasion, DC Sundas Irshad said that separate fair price shops for male and female were setup for providing relief to people and in view of rush at fair price shops of people at fair price shops, the number of fair price shops was increased.

She said that 13 edible items were available to consumers on 25 percent discount and a large number of people were buying different items on cheaper price than open market whereas supply, demand and quality of edibles items were being monitored.

She said that sitting arrangements for male and female were also made in the modal bazar. Later, DC and DPO also visited utility store established by the federal government to sell subsidiary 19 essential commodities to people on cheaper rates under Prime Minister’s Ramazan Relief Package. Meanwhile fourth Badge of Police Youth Internship Programme has been launched.

District Police Officer Faisal Gulzargive information to Male and Female Internees regarding promotion of concept of community policing and its importance. Internees students visited IT branch, control room, and feedback office in the of the DPO office accompanied by the DPO.
