Rain-wind thunderstorm in Kashmir, Punjab, Islamabad

The MET office Islamabad Tuesday forecast rain wind-thunderstorm in Kashmir, Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, Giglit Baltistan and Northeast Balochistan and federal capital during next 24 hours.

Isolated heavy falls and hailstorm would likely occur during the period. Dust-storm in Upper Sindh Whereas seasonal low likely to persist over northwest of Balochistan and its adjoining areas.

Moist currents from Arabian Sea are penetrating upper and central parts of the country.

Westerly wave is also persist over upper parts of the country. Maximum temperature’s recorded in (°C): Sibbi 47, Dadu, Shaheed Benazirabad and Jacobabad 45.

The Bahawalpur and adjoining areas received heavy rain on Tuesday which turned weather pleasant. The temperature dropped down to 27 degree Celsius which had reached 42 during last few days. The Cholistan also received rain which came as a blessing for residents of Cholistan in hot and dry weather.

The local met office has forecast hot and dry weather for Bahawalpur during next 24 hours. The Meteorological department on Tuesday forecast partly cloudy weather with chances of drizzle in the metropolis over the next 24 hours.

The minimum and maximum temperatures are expected to remain from 29 to 31.—APP
