The Met Department has issued forecasts indicating a variety of weather conditions prevailing across Pakistan. According to the department’s spokesperson, most parts of the country are expected to experience hot and dry weather, with temperatures rising notably.

However, there is a possibility of rain in upper Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, upper and northeast Punjab. Additionally, strong winds and thunderstorms are forecast for the plains. In Islamabad and surrounding areas, the weather is anticipated to be cloudy with rain showers, offering relief from the scorching heat.

In Lahore, after an early morning rain, the weather turned pleasant, providing respite from the intense heat. The maximum temperature is expected to reach around 34 degrees Celsius, with intermittent rain predicted throughout the day.

Meanwhile, in Karachi, the decrease in humidity has intensified the sensation of heat. The Met Department forecasts the maximum temperature to range between 35.—INP
