Rain in most parts of the Khyber Pakhtunkhwa made the weather cold including provincial capital Peshawar, said a report of the Meteorological Department Khyber Pakhtunkhwa issued on Thursday.
The report also predicted more rain with strong winds and cloudy weather besides snowfall in upper parts of the province including Malakand and Hazara Division.
The rain started in the early morning in different parts of the provincial capital Peshawar including upper and central areas of the province, the report said.
The weather would remain partly cloudy in the southern districts, the Meteorological Department said. There would be snowfall in Malakand and Hazara divisions alongwith rains, strong winds,The report further added.
The local Met Office has forecast a partly cloudy to cloudy weather with chances of rain for the city for next 24 hours.
The highest maximum temperature 28 centigrade and the lowest minimum 18 centigrade were recorded during last 24 hours.
The partly cloudy to cloudy weather with chances of rain has also been forecast for rest of the region.
The local Met office has forecast dry weather for the city and its suburbs during the next 24 hours.
On Sunday, maximum and minimum temperatures were recorded as 27.2 degree centigrade and 17.1 degree centigrade respectively. The humidity was recorded 81 per cent at 8 am and 52 per cent at 5 pm. The sun will rise at 06:21 am and set at 17:35 pm tomorrow.—APP
