According to the Pakistan Meteorological Department, the current weather pattern is expected to persist until April 4, bringing intermittent rainfall and cooler temperatures. Earlier, the temperature in Lahore was recorded at 23°C, with expected high of 31°C and a low of 19°C.
Winds were blowing at a mild speed of around 6 km/h, while humidity levels were measured at approximately 51 percent.
As the rain system moves through the region, a noticeable drop in temperature has already been observed, making the atmosphere significantly more comfortable compared to previous days. Recent rainfall, accompanied in some areas by hailstorms, has further enhanced the pleasantness of the weather. In another update, the temperature dropped to around 26°C, with cooler winds blowing at 15 km/h and humidity slightly increasing to 53 percent. In terms of air pollution, the city has ranked eighth among the most polluted cities globally, with an Air Quality Index (AQI) of 129.

However, the recent rains are expected to provide temporary relief by reducing airborne pollutants and improving air quality.
