Rain at isolated places likely

Islamabad—Scattered rain-thundershower accompanied by strong gusty winds with isolated heavy falls in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, FATA, Gilgit-Baltistan & Kashmir and rain-thundershower accompanied by strong gusty winds is expected at isolated places in Islamabad, Rawalpindi, Sargodha, Gujranwala, Quetta, Zhob, Kalat, Sibi divisions during the next 12 hours.
Temperature of some major cities recorded on Fri-day morning: Islamabad and Quetta fifteen degree centigrade, Lahore twenty one, Karachi twenty-five, Peshawar nineteen, Gilgit ten, Murree eleven and Muzaffarabad fourteen degree centigrade.
According to the synoptic situation, a westerly sys-tem is affecting upper parts of the country. This westerly wave is likely to persist in upper & central parts till Sunday. The Quetta met office has forecast a dry to partly cloudy weather with chances of scattered rain in the provincial capital during next 24 hours.—APP
