Qurbani Rates in Pakistan 2024: How much will it cost to slaughter animals this year?

KARACHI – The prices of sacrificial animals saw an increase for Eidul Adha 2024 despite a drop in inflation. The hike in costs will add extra pressure on those planning to do Qurbani.

Ahead of Eid, the rates to slaughter sacrificial animals have been released in Karachi. It varies from area to area in Peshawar. Sacrificing a big animal such as a cow or a bull will cost you Rs20,000 to Rs25,000 on the first day.

Rate list shared by Meat Merchants Association said the rate for sacrificing a goat on the first day of Eid will be Rs10,000, while the rate for sacrificing a cow has been set at Rs. 10,000.

Animal Rate
Goat Rs. 10,000
Cow Rs. 20,000
Camel Rs. 40,000

For this year, the rate for slaughtering camel is around Rs40,000. The rate for sacrificing animals on second and third day of Eid will be approximately half as compared to high demand on first day.
