In a statement the leading physician said that as we are well aware, DHA itself does not have any of its own healthcare facilities, so people rely on below the standard of care services at these institutions. It has been noticed that if you seek care in these facilities, the rate of errors by the incompetent staff leads to increase death rate at these hospitals. South city hospital has very well trained physician who completed their Training at teaching institutions of US and UK including Pakistan. But due to lack of team work and not following standard of care which leads to increase mortality rate. For example, there is no proper communications of labs and radiology department between physicians and results of the life savings test has deviation in reporting. On numerous occasions, these tests on repeat reporting ultimately change the physician decision towards patient’s treatment and thus worst outcome. At pathology labs, staff found to be spending most of the time on their cell phone instead of analysing critical patients Data and reporting. “We are sure there is no quality control department to oversee these errors and these hospitals is working as money making business instead of serving community.We request to all physician at these hospitals to come forward and raise their voice, which as health care professionals is our utmost duty to serve the humanity.We also urge the department of health and hospital credentialing institutions to see and assess their quality of care and full fill the core essential of serving patients.”
