London
Meghan Markle and Prince Harry after their announcement of a royal exit last month, are enjoying their life away from the royal engagements. However, not entirely.
As per the latest intel on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, Queen Elizabeth has requested the pair to return to the kingdom next month for the Commonwealth service at Westminster Abbey in London.
According to The Sunday Times, the event is scheduled for March 9 and will come as part of the Sussex couple’s final phase of royal engagements before they delve completely into a non-royal life.
Harry and Meghan are scheduled to attend the event as president and vice-president of the Queen Commonwealth Trust which will be poles apart from the kind of social work the two are looking to be involved in as part of their new life.
Prince Harry and wife Meghan Markle are currently enjoying their privacy in Canada after their departure from England as well as from the royal family. Now a tabloid has claimed that Meghan Markle was planning to appear on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, a US daytime talk show hosted by Ellen DeGeneres, and expose secrets of the British Royal family.
The tabloid quoting an insider claimed that Ellen’s show was the perfect platform for Prince Harry and Meghan Markle to take their revenge, adding that the Prince wanted his wife to do so.
However, the source did not mention what kind of secrets Meghan Markle had planned to spill. The source also did not explain why Prince Harry does not himself want to appear on the show but wants his wife to do so.
Meanwhile, Gossip Cop citing sources close to Ellen, reported that the rumours are untrue. The host confirmed that there is no plan to interview Meghan Markle, the source said, and added that it is possible for Meghan to appear on the show in future but likely to promote her projects instead of exposing the secrets of the royal family.—Agencies
