The sitting of Gosha-e-Gayan was held at Alhamra Arts Council here on Tuesday at Alhamra Art Centre. Famous scholar Dr. Tariq Shareef Zada highlighted his thoughts and views about Quaid-e-Azam Mohammad Ali Jinnah and Kashmir. In his address he considered a detailed expression on Quaid e Azam.
He quoted Quaid with his sayings: “You have to stand guard over the development and maintenance of Islamic democracy, Islamic social justice and the equality of manhood in your own native soil.”
He further said that Pakistan has a long standing commitment with the Kashmiri freedom movement which was initiated by the Founder Muhammad Ali Jinnah himself who referred to Kashmir as the “jugular vein” of the country. On his concluding remarks Dr. Shareef Zada said, I invite you all to be part of the campaign of Gosha-e-Gayan and join this spiritual journey to learn the actual meaning of Islam and humanity from the perspective of a Muslim.
On the occasion Executive Director Lahore Arts Council Ather Ali Khan said “Gosha-e-Gayan” is actually to create awareness concerning the human rights among masses. As Pakistani when we talk about Islamic views of Quaid e Azam we know that Jinnah believed that Islam is not just a religion but a comprehensive way to lead a life: “according to Jinnah Islam taught us utmost about the human rights because, in Islam, more attention is given to the rights of people. He further said that the “Corner of wisdom” is all based on human rights which are the most important part of our religion.
