Punjab has joined hands with Pakistan’s first no-code, AI-powered technology platform to develop and deliver a coding and digital-skills pathway for graduates of the PSDF’s Mein Digital programme.
The agreement was signed by Akbar Hussain, Head of Digital Programs at PSDF, and Ammar Aslam, CEO of icōd.ai.
Ali Dar, Director of External Affairs, icōd.ai, Hassan Jawaid, Director of Community and Operations, along with senior officials from both organisations, attended the signing ceremony.
Under the partnership, icōd.ai will assess the coding and digital-skills components of PSDF’s existing curricula and align them with current AI-development practices and industry demand.
As part of the initiative, icōd.ai will conduct bootcamps and virtual training sessions through its platform for up to 25 Mein Digital graduates. Participants will receive practical training in areas including website and web-application development, digital forms and automated business workflows, particularly those already running entrepreneurial ventures.
“This is a first-of-its-kind initiative for Punjab. Giving Mein Digital graduates hands-on access to a no-code AI platform deepens our programme’s impact and makes them globally competitive in the digital economy,” said Akbar Hussain.
Ammar Aslam said the partnership would help make no-code AI more accessible to Pakistan’s non-technical community by providing Mein Digital graduates with structured learning, hands-on projects and portfolio-ready skills.
The collaboration is expected to further strengthen Punjab’s digital-skills ecosystem by offering industry-aligned coding and no-code training. A pilot programme will be launched initially, with plans to scale the initiative and develop structured pathways towards freelancing, sustainable livelihoods and technology-enabled income opportunities.
Through its Mein Digital programme, PSDF is equipping educated women in rural Punjab with foundational digital skills to pursue careers in digital entrepreneurship.
