Punjab Rising Stars Portal has been launched to enable young athletes to highlight their abilities and gain access to opportunities for professional growth.
Developed by the Punjab Information Technology Board (PITB) for the Sports Board Punjab, the portal seeks to promote sports and help discover emerging talent from across Punjab.
Aspiring athletes can create online profiles in a wide range of disciplines, including karate, cricket, hockey, football, badminton, and several other sports. The platform is designed to connect promising athletes with talent identification initiatives, professional coaching, mentorship, and skills development programmes, supporting their journey toward national and international success.
PITB Chairman Faisal Yousaf said the Punjab Rising Stars Portal gives young athletes a modern and effective way to showcase their talent.
“Our objective is to create a transparent and integrated system that can identify sporting talent and link athletes with opportunities for training, development, and recognition at national and international levels,” he said.
