Inspector General of Punjab Police DrUsman Anwar disclosed that a fabric of the Jaranwala tragedy is linked to the secret agency of the enemy country. Addressing a press conference, he said that they had broken the network and three main accused had been arrested besides the Christian accused. “A conspiracy was hatched to pitch the Muslims against the Christian community. We will not allow anyone to take the law into his hand,” he declared.
The IGP said that hate content was found from the mobile phones of the accused.
He said that another such incident occurred in a Sargodha village. “After the incident, several Muslims opened their houses for the Christians,” he added. IG Punjab DrUsman ensured the nation that they have broken the network of the enemy and such incidents will not happen in future. DrUsman Anwar said that the Jaranwala tragedy was an attempt to emerge a clash between Muslim and Christian communities and Islamic religious scholars and civil society played their role in the best way in the matter. He confirmed that the three main accused of the Jardanwala tragedy have been arrested and also assured that those responsible for the conspiracy would be brought to justice in any case. The IG Punjab said to prove a true gesture of humbleness of a religion, the Muslims presented their mosque to the Christian community for worship.
