The Punjab government is completing three mega projects with the cost of Rs.26 billion for welfare of the people and development of the area while timely completion of these projects is my top priority so that people of the district Hafizabad could get benefits of these mega projects earliest.
These views were expressed by the Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Muhammad Asi Raza while addressing a meeting held to review pace of work on ongoing mega projects of construction of dual road from Gujranwala to Kot Sarwar Motorway Interchange via Hafizabad with the cost of Rs.10 billion, construction of 400 beds District Headquarter Hospital with the cost of Rs.10 billion and construction of University of Hafizabad at a cost of Rs. 6.50 billion, on Tuesday.
While giving briefing about ongoing schemes, the Deputy Director Development Hafizabad Hafiz Mubashar-ul-Hassan informed the meeting that all ongoing schemes were being monitored strictly to ensure use of standard material and timely completion of the projects whereas on the directions of the DC Hafizabad, all material was being tested from labs regularly.
