The Chief Minister (CM) Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the provincial government was sincerely busy in providing edible items of good quality to the people on concessional prices through the ‘sahulat bazaars’. He said that while talking to the reporters during his visit to the ‘sahulat bazar’ in Sambrai.
The Punjab Minister for Special Education Ch Muhammad Ikhlaq, the Commissioner Gujranwala Gulzar Hussain Shah, the Regional Police Officer Nazir Garha, the District Police Officer Asad Hasan Alvi and others also accompanied him. The CM Usman Buzdar further said that strict actions were being taken against the hoarders and the price hikers in the entire province without any discrimination due to which many of the necessities of life including flour and sugar were easily available to the people in the open market.
He vowed that he would take every step to provide some relief to the people against price hike. The CM Usman Buzdar inspected various stalls in the ‘sahulat bazar’ and himself enquired from the common people about quality and price of the commodities. The CM Usman Buzdar on this occasion announced that both, the Daska-Sambrial road and Sambrial-Airpoprt road, would be reconstructed in the near future.
He took serious notice of the poor sanitation and cleanliness situation in Sambrial and approved the immediate recruitment of the sanitation staff against vacant vacancies. Later on, CM Usman Buzdar inspected the Airport police station announced Rs 100000 as a grant for the police. Earlier, CM Usman Buzdar arrived at the Sialkot International Airport via helicopter at 02:25 pm with no prior information from Zafarwal and later, departed to Lahore at 03:30 pm.
