Punjab Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar has said that the PTI government has transformed Punjab into a role model in terms of investment. “Development work on Allama Iqbal Industrial city will be further accelerated and a one-window facility will set up for domestic and foreign companies in the industrial zone.”
Chief Minister Usman Buzdar was talking to Chairman Faisalabad Industrial Estate Development & Management Company (FIEDMC) who called on the CM and discussed ways to facilitate business.
On the occasion, the chief minister said that the Punjab government would resolve the problems of investors on a priority basis, adding that foreign investors have shown keen interest in Allama Iqbal Industrial City. The chief minister said that the government has made Punjab a role model in terms of investment.
He also added that special funds will be provided for public welfare projects in Toba Tek Singh. The FIEDMC chairman briefed the chief minister and appreciated the positive trend and development work of the industrial sector.
NEW IGP CALLS ON CM
Newly-posted IG Police Inam Ghani called on Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar at his office here on Wednesday.
The CM extended good wishes to him and issued directives for further improving the law & order situation in the province. He directed that indiscriminate action be initiated against the criminals and no pressures should be accepted. The police will have to be transformed as a neutral entity, he said. The supremacy of the merit and the law should be ensured at any cost and no pressure be tolerated for any wrongdoing, he stressed.
CONDOLES DEATH
Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar and Senior Minister Abdul Aleem Khan expressed a deep sense of sorrow over the death of the mother of Syed Abbas Ali Shah, PTI’s MPA and chief whip in Punjab assembly. Both have extended sympathies to Syed Abbas Ali Shah and other members of the bereaved family and prayed that may Allah Almighty rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant courage to the heirs to bear the loss with equanimity.
CM INAUGURATES ALMONRY IN SHAH JAMAL
Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar inaugurated an almonry in Shah Jamal here on Wednesday. He took food along with others. The labourers panegyrize food quality. The CM announced to open 11 more almonries in Lahore, adding that in-principle decision has been made to start almonries outside shelter homes for the poor people.
The government is fulfilling its responsibilities by providing boarding and lodging facilities to the impecunious strata, he stressed. 48 thousand people have been provided food in 7 almonries in Lahore and the scope of this facility will be extended to other cities as well.
