Deputy Director Social Welfare Hafizabad Amina Ashraf said that the Punjab Urban Land System Enhancement (PULSE) Project is striving to ensure equitable land distribution and foster socio-economic development, acknowledges the pivotal role of women in societal progress in the province. While addressing a highly informative awareness seminar on women’s inheritance rights in Hafizabad, she said that different programees were being held to create awareness among women about gender equality, women empowerment and women inheritance rights.
She said that the PULSE Project launched to provide essential information to women about their rights and other measures taken by the government to empower women. She said that women could play their vital role in national progress and prosperity. Women should come forward to work shudder to shoulder with men for not only improve their own socio -economic condition but also to play their indispensable role in the country’s economic development and land administration, she added. Addressing the seminar, speakers appreciated the Social Welfare Departments efforts by organizing this awareness session.
