Faisalabad Development Authority (FDA) Director General Dr Faisal Azim has said that coordinated strategy would be followed in the projects of public welfare and urban development.
The suggestions of the governing body members and local political leadership would be welcomed in this regard.
He was holding introductory meeting with the governing members after taking over charge of his office.
FDA Chairman Ch Latif Nazar, Additional Director General Amer Aziz, Chief Engineer Shahid Mehmood, Directors Junaid Hassan, Asma Mohsin ,Hasan Zaheet, Deputy Director Admn Yasir Ijaz Chatta and other officers were also present in the meeting.
Governing body members were included MPA Firdous Rai, Vice Chairman Wasa Sh Shahid Javed, Ch Javed Sharif, Majid Husain, Mian Yasir Anwar, Syed Sultan Azam, Ch Nasir Mehmood and others also attended the meeting.
The FDA DG welcomed the governing body members and said that their suggestion and proposals were very much important for decision making which not only helped in successful completion of public welfare projects but also to raise the quality of departmental service.
He categorically announced that to ensure the enforcement of merit policy and rules & regulations was the utmost priority to boost the visible image of good governance and transparency.
He expressed his determination and said that strict monitoring would be carried out of the departmental proceedings on applications received on E Khidmat Markaz and FDA one window counter to proper promotion of construction sector under the vision of Prime Minister Imran Khan and Chief Minister Sardar Usman Buzdar.
He told the the record properties was being digitalised and smart would be issued to the owners of properties which would be helped to eliminate the chances of any fraud and forgery.
He maintained that the indiscriminate operation against illegal housing schemes would be continued and towm planning would be brought in the orbit of relevant law completely.
FDA DG informed the TEPA would be made functional to implement the traffic management plan with the cooperation of local political leadership.
He hoped that the general meeting of governing body would be convened shortly and necessary decisions would be made with mutual consensus. He said the the speedy completion of infrastructure development projects at FDA city and obliged that the governing body members extended valuable cooperation in revenue recovery campaign.
FDA Chairman Ch Latif Nazar expressed his expectations in improving the service delivery system with the new incumbent of FDA.
The governing body members conveyed their good wishes to FDA Director General and presented some suggestions and proposals for betterment of different sections of FDA Directorates.
