PU students to contribute in welfare of society: Director IAP

Director Punjab University Institute of Applied Psychology (IAP), Prof Dr. Rafia Rafiq has said expressed hope that the graduating students of the varsity with their skills will contribute to welfare of the society.

She was addressing the participants of 2nd convocation of the PU IAP organized here on Saturday during which degrees and medals were distributed among 190 successful students of BS, MS and PhD of batch 2021.

The ceremony was attended by Prof Emeritus Dr Najma Najam, Prof Dr Ruhi Khalid, Dr Naumana Amjad, Prof Dr Mian Aftab, Dr Afifah Anjum, Dr Fatima Kamran, and Dr Saima Ghazal along with other faculty members and students.

While congratulating the successful students, Dr Rafiq Rafiq said that the role of psychologists cannot be ignored to restore mental health in natural disasters like floods, earthquakes and COVID.

She said that PU IAP gives quality education to the students and also focuses on character building.
