Punjab University on Monday awarded PhD degrees to 10 scholars in different subjects after approval of thesis.
According to details, Sonia Ashraf D/o Muhammad Ashraf Abid was awarded PhD degree in the subject of International Relations, Armaghan Farid S/o Muhammad Ali in the subject of International Relations, Mehmood Aslam S/o Muhammad Aslam in the subject of Environmental Sciences, Zaheerud Din Babar S/o Talib Hussain in the subject of Communication Studies, InamUlHaq S/o IhsanulHaq in the subject of Sociology, Muhammad Zahid Zaheer Iqbal S/o Muhammad Iqbal Javed in the subject of Islamic Studies, Waqas Baig S/o Hakeem Iqbal Baig in the subject of Commerce, Kiran Ikram D/o Malik Ikram Ilahi in the subject of Sociology, GaiteeSahar Sharif D/o Sharif Sahab Din in the subject of Zoology and Anum Arooj D/o Niamat Ali was awarded PhD degree in the subject of Environmental Sciences. Moreover, in Punjab University Librarians Organizations (PULO) election for 2024-2025, the entire panel was elected unopposed.
According to details, the newly elected body includes President Saif-Ur-Rehman Attiq, General Secretary Dr Abdul Jabbar Awan, Senior Vice President DrAzhar Rasheed, Vice President Fayaz Hussain, Joint Secretary Dr Sameera Hussain, Treasurer Muhammad Asif Khan, Information Secretary Amina Junaid , Executive Members Dr Sohail Iqbal Awan, Kashif Hussain, Ms Nazima Riaz, Toqeer Ahmed and Asif Ali.
