The Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf parliamentarian’s meeting in Abbottabad took an unexpected turn as it failed to draw significant public participation, prompting a change in the venue to the residence of the former district Nazim, Sardar Sher Bahadur. The meeting saw the absence of many and displayed signs of public disapproval. Notably, former Tehsil Nazim Ishaque Zakaria also declined to join PTI Parliamentarians just two days prior to the event.

Ex- federal minister and head of PTI Parliamentarians Pervez Khattak and former Chief Minister KP Mehmood Khan, both gave short speeches but decided to depart due to the underwhelming turnout. On this occasion, former District Nazim Sardar Sher Bahadur officially announced his affiliation with Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Parliamentarian. During his address, Pervez Khattak emphasized the urgency of addressing Pakistan’s financial challenges, citing that the country has accumulated significant debt over the past 75 years.

He expressed concern that if unscrupulous leaders continue to hold power, Pakistan’s development prospects may remain grim. Both Mehmood Khan and Pervez Khattak highlighted their achievement of providing essential services.
