A court in Lahore on Saturday extended the interim bails granted to nine Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) leaders in the case of vandalizing public property during the party’s long march on May 25, 2022 until June 18.

Besides extending the bails of PTI leaders, including Yasmeen Rashid, Mian Aslam Iqbal, Mehmoodur Rasheed and Murad Raas, the court of Additional Sessions Judge Saima Qureshi also ordered the investigation officer (IO) in the case to complete his probe into the case.

The leaders of Pakistan Tehreek-i-Insaf (PTI) had to rush to the anti-terrorism court (ATC) in Lahore yesterday (Friday, June 10, 2022) for bails after it issued non-bailable arrest warrants for them over vandalism and damage to the public property during the party’s long march.
