PTI leader and speaker Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Assembly Mushtaq Ghani’s brother Ilyas Ghani was arrested when he was making an attempt to file appeal before Appellate Tribunal here at Abbottabad on Tuesday. Ilyas Ghani submitted his brother Mushtaq Ghani’s appeal in the Peshawar High Court Abbottabad bench who also had Mushtaq Ghani’s power of attorney.
After submitting the appeal, he was arrested by the Cantt Police Statoon, Abbottabad and shifted to some unknown place says legal attorney of Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani who is currently staying at UK and due to expiry of passport, he could not travel to Pakistan for which Peshawar High Court has already had issued directives to DG Passport for onward delivery of his Passport to Mushtaq Ahmed Ghani so he can return back to Pakistan. The charges on Ilyas Ghani could not be ascertained and confirmed.
