Punjab Energy Minister Dr Akhtar Malik has said that Chief Minister Usman Buzdar had approved the establishment of 10 new universities in the province, with which the PTI government had fulfilled another promise. He was addressing the 4th convocation of Women University Multan as a chief guest on Thursday. He said that work had been started on 21 universities in three years.

The Energy Minister further said that all the hospitals and educational institutions of Multan were being shifted to solar energy while so far more than 20,000 schools and colleges across the province had been converted to solar energy. Commenting on the current political situation, Dr Akhtar Malik said that it was time for a decision. “Muslims have not forgotten Mir Jafar and Mir Sadiq yet. We stand by the slogan of change with which we started our journey.

We have not brought any blue-yellow taxi, we have not brought cheap bread, our focus is on the welfare of the people. Our leader is not thinking of his election but of the future of the nation. That is why we are proud of our leader,” He said.

The provincial minister added that the political upheaval that had taken place in the last four months strengthened my confidence in Imran Khan and I have always decided to support him.

He said that for the first time, our independent foreign policy was going to be formed. He said that IK had convinced the world that Muslims were not terrorists but true preachers of peace. Dr. Malik said, “Thanks to Imran Khan’s efforts, March 15 was declared the day of Islamophobia. He reminded us that our leader is Hazrat Muhammad (SAWW) who established the ideal state of Madinah. We do not think that the canals of milk and honey are run but the realistic approach taken by Imran Khan may yield fruits soon. Today, the elites are not happy with all these measures and have become tools of foreign powers but the history always remembers those who do not compromise on principles. Inshallah, they will meet a shameful fate.

History continues to write about who became the tool of external forces on such an occasion and who did not.
