BUNER – Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) Chairman Barrister Gohar Ali Khan’s mother has passed away.
Khan shared the news in a post on social media platform X, stating: “It is with utmost grief and sorrow that we inform you that our most respected, kind, and beloved mother has passed away”.
“We appeal to all of you for prayers that Allah may grant our mother Kulsum Farooqi a high status in paradise,” he wrote.

انتہائی رنج و غم کے ساتھ اطلاع دی جاتی ہے کہ ہماری نہایت محترم، شفیق اور پیاری والدہ انتقال فرما گئی ہیں۔
آپ سب سے دعاؤں کی اپیل ہے کہ اللہ ہماری والدہ كوجنت الفرووس میں اعلیٰ مقام عطا فرمائیں-

The funeral prayer will be offered tomorrow, on Saturday, August 8, at 4:00 PM in Dagar village, District Buner.
Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and other politicians have expressed sorrow over demise of his mother.
The primer extended condolences to the PTI chairman and his family. He prayed for Allah Almighty to grant eternal peace and mercy to the deceased and give strength and patience to the family to bear the loss.
The prime minister said he stood with the PTI chairman and his relatives in their time of grief, extending his heartfelt sympathies and prayers following the death of Barrister Gohar’s mother.
