PTI-backed Asad Manzoor Butt elected Lahore High Court Bar president

LAHORE – Asad Manzoor Butt, a candidate supported by Pakistan Tehreek e Insaf Vice President Hamid Khan Advocate, was elected president of the Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA).

The annual elections of Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) for the year 2024-25 were held today on Saturday, with Asad Butt and Saqib Akram Gondal vying for the president slot.

Asad Butt clinched victory in a closely contested race. He got 6195 votes to clinch the first position while Gondal secured around 5768 votes.

Furthermore, Sardar Gahlan was elected Lahore High Court Bar Association (LHCBA) Vice President with 3344 votes, and Qadir Chahal was elected as Secretary.

The post of Finance Secretary goes to Falak Naz Gul, Chairman Election Board announced the biometric results on Saturday.
