The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) remained volatile throughout the session on Thursday, with the benchmark KSE-100 Index closing in the red by shedding 149 points (-0.31 percent) to close at 47,640.88 points.
Profit-taking gripped the bourse in the closing hours, as the KSE-100 Index gained 734.59 points in the preceding three sessions. The market opened on a positive note but it switched between the green and red zones.
The KSE-100 Index moved in a range of 313.6 points, showing an intraday high of 47,896.3 points and intraday low of 47,582.7 points.—TLTP
