The Pakistan Stock Exchange (PSX) witnessed a bullish trend on Tuesday with the benchmark KSE-100 Index gaining 486.21 points (+1.08 percent) to close at 45,399.78 points.
The KSE-100 Index remained positive throughout the session touching an intraday high of 45,558.1 points.
Among other indices, the KSE All Share Index gained 332.51 points (+1.09 percent) to close at 30,863.37 points, while All Share Islamic Index shed 186.98 points (+0.85 percent) to close at 22,194.99 points.
A total of 401 companies traded shares in the stock exchange, out of them shares of 280 closed up, shares of 102 closed down while shares of 19 companies remained unchanged.
The overall market volumes decreased by 19.82 million to 343.28 million shares, while market capitalisation increased by Rs84.76 billion. —TLTP
