Provision of better health facilities to the people is top priority of the government and any negligence and slackness cannot be tolerated at all on the part of health department Hafizabad. These views were expressed by the Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Umer Farooq Warraich while visiting Trauma Centre Hafizabad, on Thursday.
DC Inspected labs, X-ray room, washrooms, emergency and other wards of the Trauma Centre and reviewed cleanliness and availability of medicines and other treatment facilities. Expressing his dissatisfaction over poor cleanliness and lacke of different facilities, he directed the Inchage Trauma Centre Dr. Shahzad Ahmad and other staff to cleanliness in all wards, X-Ray room and emergency and ensure all basic facilities in the washrooms as well as availability of hand sanitizers at different places.
I will visit the Trauma Centre once again soon and if standard of medical services and cleanliness will not improve, strict action will be taken against responsible incumbents, he added.
