Protest against laborers’ killing

A protest demonstration was held in Shakai on Saturday regarding the killing of 5 laborers in the heartbreaking incident of Daza Ghundai area in South Waziristan Lower yesterday. The protests were attended in large numbers by tribal elders, youths, scholars and political parties.

On this occasion Provincial Assembly (PA) candidate of PK 114, Taj Muhammad Wazir, addressed the protest that the heartbreaking incident of Daza Ghundai area yesterday is not only sad but also condemnable.

Taj Wazir criticized the current district administration and said that five laborers belonging to the Shakai area were constructing a police station for the police, but unfortunately they were killed yesterday due to lack of protection by the current government. He said that the oppressed people have reached the same conclusion by learning from their experiences that someone is involved behind such incidents.

He said that many obstacles have been erected in the way, in which the biggest obstacle is the state itself.
