District administration will ensure protection of farmers’ rights and all available resources will be utilized to ensure provision of fertilizers on fixed price and according the demand of growers in the district Hafizabad. These views were expressed by the Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad, Allah Ditta Warraich while addressing the meeting of officers of Agriculture Department. The performance of the agriculture department was reviewed in the meeting.
DC said that officers of agriculture, revenue department and price magistrates would continue supply and demand of fertilizers and they would responsible to ensure provision of fertilizers to the farmers on control rates as well as to take action against hoarders.
He said that district administration would ensure to implement on people friendly agenda of the Chief Secretary Punjab and the Punjab government for providing maximum relief. DC directed the officers of agriculture department to hold farmers meeting at village level to provide useful training to growers for increasing per acre yield of paddy.
