100 year’s celebrations of District Bar Association ended with the closing ceremony held here at newly constructed building of DBA.
Rich tributes were paid to the founder president of the DBA Mir Wali Ullah and its companions who first laid thee foundation of the DBA in 1920 and also remain president till 1949.
A colorful magazine was published as mark of concluding day ceremonies of the Centenary Celebrations the one of the oldest Bar Association of the KP and as well as of the country.
Informative material has been included in the magazine covering the 100 years of the DBA Abbottabad with names of the prominent lawyers who are still being remembered for their contribution and professionalism.
Closing annual dinner was largely attended by the large number of Lawyers from all over the Hazara division with special guests which includes Secretary Law KP Masood Ahmeed, DG Excise KP Saqib Aslam, Additional Secretary Local Government Waseem Ahmed Khan and large number of district and divisional officers.
Outgoing president of the DBA Jahangir Elahi in his speech has lauded the role of the senior Lawyers of Abbottabad who got national fame through their professional skill.
