Deputy Commissioner Hafizabad Sundas Irshad visited different areas of city to review progress on public welfare initiatives of the Chief Minister Punjab Maryam Nawaz, on Monday. She visited Jalalpur Bhttian Road and Qila Sahib Sing to review pace of work on cleanliness and desilting of drainage system. During the visit, she said that district administration was focusing on desilting of all drains in the city ahead to rainy season for ensuring smooth flow of rain water from the city as well as avoid flood situation in monsoon.
ADCGR/Administrator Municipal Committee Hafizabad Imtiaz Ali Baig, Chief Officer MC Ansar Sahi were also accompanied by the DC. Later, DC inspected different tandoor and checked sale of cheap roti and non and quality of roti and non. She also took feedback from consumers at tandoors. Meanwhile, Sundas Irshad also visited examination centre at Government Girls Model Higher Secondary School Hafizabad and reviewed different arrangements made to hold free and fair examination.
