Chief Minister Punjab Sardar Usman Buzdar has said the government has a full understanding of the problems of the common man and it is taking every step to overcome the menace of price-hike.
In a statement issued on Friday, the CM said district price-control committees have been fully activated to play their role. The prices of essential items are being stabilized and a price-control mechanism is being implemented.
Meanwhile, the CM regretted that the opposition is engaged in negative politics in the garb of the price-hike issue.
There is no room for anarchist politics in the prevailing circumstances, he maintained and regretted that the opposition is impassive to public problems.
It only longs for power and the role of the opposition is contrary to the national interest, he added. As a result, the opposition parties have lost their credibility in the public, the CM concluded.
Moreover CM added that different projects have been initiated for the welfare of the differently-abled persons through the Punjab Social Protection Authority.
The government would ensure to rehabilitate the special persons to bring them at par with the able-bodied persons, he added.
The provision of equal opportunities to grow is the sign of a healthy society and everyone should lend a helping hand to this noble cause so that disabled persons could be restored through education and training, he stated.
Similarly, it is also important to raise necessary awareness in the society about education, training and rehabilitation of disabled persons, the CM concluded.
