Premier’s scholarly and spiritual speech
THE date is 06 October 2021, the Prime Minister of Pakistan Imran Khan delivered an astonishing speech with the mark of the sacred month Rabi-ul-Awwal. His speech was a glad tidings for the people of Pakistan and a pondering point for the religious scholars.
If it is implemented it will surely bring a true revolution related to an Islamic State (Riasat-e-Madina) which is being propagated for the last three years.
May God give strength to Khan Sahib and fulfil his long cherished dream. He wants to introduce youngsters with the Divine Commands which have been fixed for them in the Divine Book ‘Holy Quran’.
He wants to eradicate all the social ailments prevailing in the society. He was concerned that so-called liberal group will oppose him but he appealed to his people to stand by him in this immense task.
It is my pleasure and pride that I had pointed all these social evils in one of my Urdu columns which was carried in the Daily “Khabrain” on 22-5-2021 and Khan Sahib had mentioned the salient features of my that column in his speech.
I have gone through very thoroughly the Quran-e-Hakeem and tried my utmost to conceive a wisdom and guidance from the Holy Book. I many times extended extracts from this Divine Book in my columns to enlighten my readers.
I want to repeat some of the extracts from Quran-e-Hakeem for my readers. Holy Quran is such a Book which encompasses and depicts all the aspects related to the universe and mankind and its affairs.
We are lucky enough the “Book” which is delivered to us is a Book which is authored by Allah Almighty Himself and the Honourable and Most Competent Teacher is the Last Prophet (SAWW).
This Divine Book is a gateway to such an august building which is full of wisdom and guidance. Islamic rules and regulations have a full harmony with the nature of mankind and its environments.
It shows to human beings a truthful life which never makes him morbid, not corporally, not spiritual. This Holy Book always inspires noble desires and boosts up for the struggle of life and gives eternal peace of head and heart
It makes you aware of your power and importance. Submission to Allah Almighty is beauty, goodness, spirituality, piety, humility and servitude. Islam is not in favour of casting away the world, it gives all the opportunities of corporal enjoyment within the limits and ethics by the faith.
Quran reads’ “There comes a light to you from this Book and who will follow this light, will be most successful.”
This Holy Book covers and encircles all the aspects and affairs related to mankind.
It also gives a very comprehensive code of ethics and guidance for a ruler. First of all this Book reads, “A ruler should always take that God is omnipresent and omnipotent”.
A ruler is liable to establish a rule of clear and complete justice system for all the people of all the classes even for himself and he should not take himself above this law of justice.
The State’s work is not merely to solve the monetary issues of the downtrodden of his country but he is responsible of their social set-up, education and even to infuse civic sense in the masses.
The ruler should keep in mind that he will be punished and prosecuted for his official misdeeds by the Allah Almighty. If a ruler is sincere and in love with the people he should rest assured that he has been selected as leader and guide by the Divine Hands.
Sad enough that our religion has been paralyzed by our so-called religious scholars and the Divine Book which is complete textbook for the mankind has come into the hands of incompetent teachers who are unable to deliver its lessons accurately to their pupils. Consequently, the new generation could not conceive the meaning of the text curriculum.
Moreover, these Ulema have reduced the Divine Commands a set of rituals to which our masses are historically addicted to that.
The religious scholars made the text and commands so difficult that young generation felt uncomfortable to follow.
The parents also played a role to deviate the young generation from the faith. Their high-level preoccupations with this corporal life, temptations of various types of the parents have detached the children from the religion.
It is good that the Prime Minister wants to launch his new mission by the name RRA specifically for the young generation which I think will be for all the posterity. One word for Imran Khan Sahib, Mr Prime Minister please practice not preach only.
