Sindh Minister for Information and Archives and Labor Saeed Ghani has said that the leaders and workers of Pakistan People’s Party (PPP) would welcome and participate in the Azadi March.
He said that the PPP had already decided to welcome the Azadi March from wherever it would stat. Following that the leaders and the workers of PPP Karachi division would receive the partakers of the Azadi March, the Minister added.
He said that after Karachi the participators of the Azadi March would also be received by the PPP workers and leaders in Jamshoro. The Provincial Minister for Information said this while addressing a press conference on Saturday.
He blamed Prime Minister Imran Khan for deteriorating health condition of former Prime Minister of Nawaz Sharif. If any unpleasant incident happened to former President Asif Ali Zardari or former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif then the federal government would be fully responsible for it.
He said that neither Zardari nor Sharif was being provided with the necessary facilities in accordance with the prison manual. Faryal Talpur was arrested to pressurize Zardari similarly Maryam was arrested to coerce Sharif.
Ghani said that Imran Khan Niazi had surpassed former dictator Ziaul Haq in carrying on vendetta against his political opponents. Even the former dictator had not denied the right of the political prisoners to have access to the necessary health facilities. All the key ministries in Niazi regime had been awarded to the accomplices of former dictator Gen. (retd.) Pervez Musharraf. The Minister said that it seemed as if the heart and soul of Gen. (retd.) Musharaf had re-emerged in Imran Niazi.
Responding to a question, he said that he had no doubt over the deteriorating health condition of former Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif. Nawaz Sharif should be provided with every possible best health facilitate in accordance with the wishes and desires of his family member.
To another, he said that it was the responsibility of every government to provide security to the peaceful protests. People could not be stopped from staging peaceful protests in the name of security. Partial and biased accountability was not acceptable.
The Minister said that the present regime of Imran Niazi had never tried to bring back the dictator who violated blatantly the constitution of Pakistan.
While on the other hand, the politicians were being sent to the prison by registering fake cases against them, he said adding that PPP never opted for any deal with the present government.
He said that after facing repeatedly the ruthless behavior of the rulers now there was no need for any deal.
He asked Moazzam Abbasi, who recently defeated the PPP candidate on Larkana PS-11 seat to participate in the Azadi March of JUI-F as the party supported him completely in the election.
The Minister said that it could be a desire of someone to arrest Sindh Chief Minister Syed Murad Ali Shah but he was sure if the process of accountability was fair then all the PPP leaders had been out of prison.
