PakistanPeoples Party (PPP) Central Punjab leaders paid tribute to party founder and former Prime Minister Zulfikar Ali Bhutto on his 45th martyrdom anniversary, saying that all those who committed his judicial murder were exposed now before the whole world.
The PPP leaders said that the decision of the Supreme Court on the Bhutto reference became an important part of Pakistan’s political history. These remarks were made by Usman Malik, RanaIrfan, ChaudhryAkhtar, MianAyub, ArshadJutt and Khalid Boby.
They said that Bhutto gave this country its first consensus constitution and identity documents to the common man. “Today’s Pakistan is geographically secure due to the atomic program initiated by the leader of the people,” they added. The PPP leaders were of the view that they are proud that the third generation of the Bhutto family is serving Pakistan and they are its workers. Insha Allah, the Pakistan Peoples Party will make Pakistan a prosperous, self-reliant, and progressive country according to Bhutto’s vision. Former Speaker of the National Assembly and President of the Pakistan Peoples Party Central Punjab Raja Pervez Ashraf said that Pakistan’s parliament and democracy owe to Bhutto’s consensus constitution. He said Bhutto ensured the rights of oppressed and marginalized classes under the Constitution of Pakistan. In his message on the 45th martyrdom anniversary of the party’s founder, Raja Pervez Ashraf said that the founder of the Pakistan Peoples’ Party gave the right of organization to students and laborers, laid the foundation of the atomic program to secure the geographical boundaries of the country. He further said that Bhutto would be offered tribute in a mass gathering at GarhiKhudaBakhsh on April 14, 44 years after receiving justice. Ali HaiderGilani, parliamentary leader of the PPP in the Punjab Assembly, said in his message that Pakistan would move forward according to the instructions of Quaid-e-Awam.
