Wife of the Assistant Editor of Pakistan Observer, Muhammad Sabir, passed away on Saturday leaving behind an aggrieved family—her husband, three sons and a daughter.
She was suffering from Hepatitis-C and was undergoing treatment for quite sometimes. However, her condition worsened on Friday and she was rushed to the hospital but could not survive and breathed her last the next day.
Her Namaz-e-Janaza was held at the Kurri Road Graveyard, Rawalpindi Saturday afternoon following which she was laid to rest in the same graveyard. Muhammad Sabir’s colleagues from the Radio Pakistan, Pakistan Television (PTV), and a large number of Pakistan Observer’s staff members and workers led by President & Executive Editor, Mr Gauhar Zahid Malik attended the Namaz-e-Janaza and prayed for the eternal peace and blessing of the departed soul. The Rasm-e-Qul of late Mrs Sabir will be held on Monday (tomorrow) at the Kurri Road residence.
