Arts Council of Pakistan Karachi organized the 4th Latif Arts and Literature Festival 2023 in collaboration with the Siraj Institute of Sindh Studies. The Latif festival was inaugurated by Federal Minister of Education Maded Ali Sindhi and President of the Arts Council Pakistan Karachi Syed Muhammad Ahmed Shah.
On this occasion highly esteemed Sindhi Scholar and Author was also along with them. Well-known writers Noor ul Huda Shah, Jam Madad Ali, Fehmida Hussain, Taj Joyo, Ayaz Latif Palijo, Jami Chandiyo, and Shams Memon were also the chief guests of the event.
Federal Minister of Education Madad Ali Sindhi said Shah Abdul Latif was not only a great poet but he was also a brave, bold philosopher and journalist of his time. He always taught people to love their mother tongue.
He further said we are not working on their personality as we should have done. We need serious research on their incredible work. He also said Shah Abdul Latif Bhittai was a popular personality among the Sindh people for the past 250 years, the Polymath poet Shah Latif’s message has been ignored . Shah Abdul Latif spreads the message of love when there is no Media.
I condemn nation of the grievous event of Mianwali. Shah Latif’s Message of peace and love is needed for time to stop events like this. We do not permit anyone else to cross the border. There is no country all over the world where people live freely after tearing passports. We also have problems, people are worried.
We must take strict preventive measures to deport illegal Afghans to their countries.
Unfortunately, we created three class systems in the country. In our era, AC and DC children were also studied. Corruption destroyed the country. Private School was also restricted to the specific curriculum.
The election was held on time. President of Art Council Pakistan Karachi Muhammad Ahmed Shah said that Siraj has misconceptions related to the Arts Council but now his perception has changed he realized the Arts Council has Completely changed
There was no arrival of Mahmood Ghaznavi but there was a Positive thinker who ran it with great affection. Now this institution has become a philanthropist. We have been working with the Siraj Institution at a very early age. The Shah Latif Festival is a great opportunity to represent Sindhi art and culture. Its examples are very rare. Ameer Khusroo invented instruments and tuned them three hundred years back.
He loves music. He gives used Urdu for his poetry. Shah Latif was lucky to find Intellectual and thoughtful people in the second century. He said critics are the need of literature. Our new generation is determined to work on Shah Latif Poetry.
