ISLAMABAD – Polish cyclist Sławomir Strzelczyk has successfully completed a challenging 1,390-kilometre cycling journey from Islamabad to the Khunjerab Pass, highlighting the longstanding friendship between Pakistan and Poland.
According to an X post shared by the Embassy of Poland in Pakistan, Ambassador Maciej Pisarski met with Strzelczyk following the completion of his journey.
The cycling expedition was aimed at celebrating Pakistan-Poland friendship while promoting tourism and encouraging cultural exchange between the two countries.
The successful completion of the journey marks an impressive achievement for Strzelczyk and also highlights the potential of sporting and adventure activities to bring people and cultures closer together.
The Embassy congratulated the Polish cyclist on completing the remarkable journey and recognised his achievement as a positive contribution to people-to-people connections between Pakistan and Poland.
