On the instructions of Inspector General Police Punjab Dr. Usman Anwar, Punjab Police is conducting crackdown to arrest the proclaimed offenders who are absconding abroad, in continuation of which, another dangerous proclaimed offender wanted in the case of murder, Muhammad Waqar, has been arrested from the United Arab Emirates and has extradited back to Pakistan.
According to the details, the proclaimed offender Muhammad Waqar fled abroad after committing the murder incident in Sargodha in 2022. Punjab Police has issued a red notice to arrest the proclaimed offender from Interpol and continued to follow up continuously for his arrest.
Proclaimed offender Muhammad Waqar was finally arrested and extradited back to Pakistan, the total number of proclaimed offenders arrested from abroad this year has reached 06.
