Police warn violators of law

Attock Excise and Traffic Police on Friday warned all the violators on routes to follow traffic laws while travelling on inter cities as well as inter provincial routes besides impounding 48 undocumented vehicles include auto rikhsha, motorbikes, 68 vehicles imposing fine along with recovery of token tax of Rs:5.00 lacs from the defaulters during a crackdown launched at different spots of district Attock here on Friday.

Police said, following the instructions of the Director Excise and Taxation Rawalpindi Mr. Tanvir Abbas Gondal, the excise police squads headed by ETO Attock Mr. Zafar Eshaq with excise inspectors Mr. Tasleem Malik, Mr. Arshad Iqbal, Inspector Mr. Jalal Ahmed, Inspector Mr. Tahir Ali, Mr. Ali Raza, Mr. Shahwaiz Khan, Mr. Imran Jahangir and Mr. Zeeshan Haider with their heavy police contingent while checking vehicles on national highways and inter city routes of Attock, Hassanabadal, Fatehjang have seized 18 non-registered vehicles which were booked in respective police stations while 38 violators were imposed fine in different attempts.
