Police vow to protect citizens

DIG (Operations Wing) Lahore Ashfaq Khan said that police is striving hard to protect citizens against the dangers of Coronavirus as well as curb culprits to control crime in the city.
Lahore Police (Operations Wing) issued the facts and figures regarding its performance during the month of September.
According to the report as many as 298 accused of 124 gangs were arrested and an amount of Rs28 million was recovered from the gangsters, which was handed over to the actual heirs.
During grand operation against illegal weapons, Lahore
Police arrested 644 criminals and recovered 32 rifles, 03 Kalashnikov, 23 guns, 560 revolvers and pistols as well as thousands bullets from their possession. More than 17kg heroin, 198kg of charas, more than 08kg opium, 340grm ICE and 6399 liters of liquor were recovered from arrested 750 accused.
