Police still searching killer of KMC’s firemen, says Wahab



Administrator Karachi Barrister Murtaza Wahab on Friday said that search is going on for the criminals who killed three firemen of the KMC Fire Brigade few days back.

“I am in touch with the police and will do my best to bring the culprits into justice. In this difficult time, I stand with bereaved families. One family member of each killed firemen will be given employment in KMC and the arrears of the killed employees will also be paid soon,” the Administrator said this was the central office of KMC, participating in the recitation of the Holy Quran for the souls of firemen Amir Qureshi, Mehboob Khan and Irshad, who died as a result of firing by unknown persons at the Korangi Fire Station the other day. Municipal Commissioner Syed Afzal Zaidi, Senior Director Municipal Services Mazhar Khan, Chief Fire Officer Ishtiaq Ahmed, heirs of the deceased, heads of various departments and officers and employees of the Fire Brigade Department participated in large numbers.

Barrister Murtaza Wahab met the families of the deceased and assured them of his full support, saying that losing loved ones is not an easy task, it is painful and only those who go through it know the pain.

He told the relatives that this is their institution and the KMC is with them on every occasion.He said that the KMC will take a better decision to support the children of the deceased employees and immediately after legal action, one of their children will be given employment to save them from financial problems.Barrister Murtaza Wahab Administrator said that the incident should be investigated in a transparent manner and the heirs should get justice.

The relatives of the deceased thanked the Administrator Karachi and said that they are encouraged that the Barrister Murtaza Wahab is looking into the case on its own and is in touch with the police.

They hoped that the killers of their loved ones will be arrested soon and will be severely punished. he Administrator Karachi aid that after coming to KMC, he was grateful to the employees for the respect and love he received from them.
