The Prime Minister’s National Innovation Award, Pakistan’s most significant pitching competition, took place at the National University of Sciences and Technology (NUST) from June 17-18, 2023.
This highly anticipated event has attracted 256 shortlisted candidates from across the country, who are vying for the prestigious title, a press release said.
The culmination of this inspiring event will be the National Award Ceremony, scheduled to take place today (June 19th) at the Prime Minister’s Office Auditorium. Where the top 50 winners will be awarded a cash prize of rupees up to 2 million. Organized by the Prime Minister’s Youth Programme and executed by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan (HEC), the National Innovation Award serves as a groundbreaking initiative that aims to foster creativity, encourage entrepreneurship, and provide unprecedented opportunities to the youth of Pakistan. This government-funded program offers equity-free grants, enabling young innovators to transform their ideas into tangible realities.
